Visit To Montessori World School

The students & teachers of Sachdeva Public School, Pitampura visited Montessori World School, Orlando,USA. The Principal Ms Nora Yee extended a warm welcome to our students and teachers. Our students were impressed by the state of art infrastructure. The spacious classrooms, well equipped library and kitchen garden provided an exciting environment for learning. The garden area had some splendid swings and the concept of ‘learning while playing’ was encouraged. Our students found every room in the school being named after a plant or an animal quite fascinating. Our students mingled easily with the students of the host school who helped them overcome their shyness. The students marvelled at the similarities that existed between the teaching and learning in the schools despite the dissimilarity of life in the East and the West. The teachers also exchanged the best practices and the teaching-learning methods being used in their respective schools.

Thus, this visit bridged the gap between the East and the West and highlighted the fact that the world has truly become a global village.
