SHRI LAXMAN DASS SACHDEVA MEMORIAL EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY (REGD.)

Shri Laxman Dass Sachdeva Memorial Educational Society (Regd.) was established in the year 1985 under Societies Registration Act 1860 (Act XXI of 1860) solely with the objective of providing quality and value based education to meet the educational needs in the changing times.

 AIMS AND OBJECTS :

 a)      To provide better and quality education based on principles of secularism and social justice to the children of the country.

b)       To establish, run and manage educational institutions in Delhi and other parts of India.

c)       To provide education and promote sportsmanship through a variety of games and sports along with promotion of cultural activities such as music, dance, drama, painting amongst the students for alround development of the personality of the students..

d)       To educate and develop young minds in order to promote national consciousness and dedication to uphold the unity, integrity and honour of the country.

 To achieve these objectives, the society which is Pioneer in setting up educational institutions, has been running a chain of elite senior secondary schools in Delhi namely.

 Sachdeva Public School, Maurya Enclave, Pitam Pura, Delhi (Estb. in 1986)

Sachdeva Public School, Sector-13, Rohini, Delhi (Estb. in 1993)

Royal Presidency School, Sector-18-a, Dwarka, Phase-I, New Delhi (Estb. in 2007)

 Two of senior secondary schools are recognised by the Directorate of Education, Delhi and affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.  Both these schools are very popular having established high academic standards with good reputation and imparting education to approximately 6500 students.

 The Society has also established yet another air conditioned senior secondary school ‘Royal Presidency School, Dwarka, New Delhi’ in South-West , Delhi. Regular classes have started functioning from the academic session 2007-08. This school is fast coming up as one of the most prestigious schools in Delhi where education would be imparted through most modern techniques with the help of latest technology like Power Point presentations, multimedia, computers etc.

 These schools are run on no loss and no profit basis with the sole aim of imparting quality education with the stress on inculcation of high ideas, courteous behaviour, good manners, etiquettes and moral values among the children.  With the basic aim to help students develop their all round knowledge and personality, the Society ensures that the schools are among the best Public Schools of Delhi. 

The Society also runs a couple of nursery schools to provide quality education in the immediate vicinity curtailing long distance traveling by the kids.                                                                                                                       

In the year 1999, the society crossed another milestone by setting up ‘Delhi Institute of Advanced Studies’ (DIAS) in Rohini Delhi to conduct graduate and post-graduate professional courses having good employment potential viz. BBA, BCA, MBA and MCA.  The institute has a strength of 650 students and is recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Delhi and affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.

 The society is thus deeply involved in the spread of quality education to the masses by running and managing
